Package Manager Improvements - Bun-Inspired Features

This document outlines future improvements to Home's package manager, taking inspiration from Bun's excellent developer experience.

🚀 Performance Improvements

1. Parallel Downloads (Like Bun)

Status: 🟡 Planned Priority: High Impact: Massive speed improvement

Bun downloads packages in parallel, making installations incredibly fast. Home should do the same.

Implementation:

2. Global Content-Addressable Cache

Status: 🟡 Planned Priority: High Impact: Disk space savings + faster installs

Like Bun, store packages globally and symlink them into projects.

4. Beautiful Progress UI

Bun shows beautiful progress bars with speed indicators. Home should too!

Add script support to ion.toml like Bun/npm:
